Brooms Farm

 

Brooms Farm consists of a barn conversion, an extended farmhouse and a cloistered courtyard linking the two buildings, constructed largely of glass and oak. The property uses underfloor heating throughout the barn, courtyard and both floors of the farmhouse. Internally, solid oak features throughout the building, from the floors, right up to the exposed purlins and Queen post trusses.

 

Externally the property was completed with the addition of a fishing pond and a detached triple garage with a storage attic, cladded with Douglas-fir. Again, feature oak frames, stairs and solid oak garage doors feature.
